Cambrian College is implementing a new initiative to help new graduates find work.

The New Grad Career Bridge ensures that graduates have options available to them to ease the transition into the workplace after they complete a Cambrian program. It is funded in part by the Government of Ontario and supported by the Minster of Training, Colleges, and Universities.

“Today, Cambrian College is taking an important step towards ensuring their graduates are prepared to enter the workforce and hit the ground running in meaningful career paths,” says Ross Romano, Ontario’s minister of Training, Colleges and Universities. “I look forward to working with Cambrian and monitoring the outcomes of this important new initiative. The New Grad Career Bridge aligns well with our government’s priorities and I thank Cambrian for their leadership.”

Its main goals are to develop, improve, and expand on a graduate’s ability to bridge into the workplace, connect graduates with employment through a career matching platform, and engage communities with Indigenous and international populations to improve their transition into the workplace.
