Santa is coming to town, again.
The annual Santa Claus parade takes place Nov. 16 at 5:30 p.m. in downtown Sudbury.
This year, the route begins at the corner of Ste. Anne Road and Notre Dame Avenue. It travels up Ste. Anne to Elgin Street, then follows Elgin to Larch Street. At Larch, the parade will turn and head to Durham Street, where it travels to Elm Street. It follows Elm to Notre Dame Avenue and back to the starting point.
The theme for this year’s parade is superhero Christmas.
A Santa watch party takes place from 2-5:30 p.m. in the TD Canada Trust parking lot, at the corner of Durham and Cedar streets. There will be live entertainment, wagon rides, children’s activities and festival foods.
A fireworks display will be deployed from All Nations Church on St. Raphael Street at 5:15 p.m.
