Sudbury Dragonboat festival calls it quits

A declining number of teams is cited as one of the reasons for the annual Sudbury Dragonboat Festival calling it quits after 20 years and about $1.8 million raised for various causes.

Paddles down! After 20 years and having raised about $1.8 million for various causes, the Sudbury Dragonboat Festival is no more. A declining number of teams (36 participated in the 2019 event last month) is cited as one of the reasons.
